Congregational Life

The goal of Trinity’s Congregational Life Ministry remains simple — to engage and connect church members to live out Trinity’s Mission: to nurture each other in our daily journeys of faith and to joyfully increase our response to all people in need, sharing God’s gifts of love and grace.

Director of Congregational Life, Angela Davis, facilitates the nurturing and equipping of the congregation through communications, seeking to actively match people (including new members) with ways they can serve and connect with one another, and encouraging worship and service opportunities.

Start of Summer Celebration

Complete with fun kid’s activities, dinner and frozen custard. Bring friends and family and enjoy a delightful dinner of pulled pork or chicken, hot dogs, fruit salad, chips and dessert.

Kids can run around and enjoy bingo, a bounce house, sidewalk chalk, face painting and other fun happenings! Bring your lawn chair or picnic blanket — along with your friends and neighbors.

Come out and enjoy fellowship, food, games and fun for the entire family!

  • Trinity’s Helping Hands Program coordinates rides, meals, childcare or other support for Trinity members and friends in their time of need. Our Director of Congregational Life initiates the process when a need is made known (often through one of the Pastors or our Parish Nurse).

  • We have members who are no longer driving or unable to drive due to restrictions. If you are interested in helping with transportation, contact Angela Davis or call us at 616.949.2510.

  • There are times when our members need some TLC in the form of meals following a death in the family, a time of illness or surgery, after the birth of a child and many other situation. The Director of Congregational Life organizes a sign up for meals and then sends out the sign up to our Trinity Family and neighborhood groups to provide meals for those in need of some love.

  • Trinity has a team of volunteers who record the 10:45 a.m. worship services each week. In addition to the broadcast on television, DVD recordings are shared with homebound Trinity members. If you would like to serve as a volunteer on the Recording Team, please contact Angela Davis.
