January Celebration Of Music Concert Series
The Ensemble Montage Quartet
Core members of Ensemble Montage (John Varineau,clarinet, Hyesook Kim, piano Alicia Eppinga, cello and Chris Martin, violin) will perform Olivier Messiaen’s toweringly iconic Quartet for the End of Time, composed and first performed in a German prisoner of war camp during World War Two. The forty-five minute work is an epic journey of transcendental spiritual mysticism.
