MINDING YOUR MIND: Staying Centered in Today’s World

May 21, 2022 @ 8:30 am - 12:30 pm

donations accepted

Join us for a morning of encouragement, education and empowerment regarding mental health.

Together with our Standing Together Partner congregations, we will learn more about caring for our mental health individually and collectively. Our keynote speaker, Dr Cynthia Kok, MSW, PhD, will present about mental wellbeing, destigmatizing mental illness and coping with today’s stressors. There will be breakout sessions relating to anxiety, depression, how to find the right therapy, suicide prevention and teen support as well as experiential offerings like walking a labyrinth and mindful doodling. In addition, there will be multiple organizations available sharing valuable community resources.

Please save the date and come spend the morning with us! Watch the eBlast after Easter for information on how to register.

Contact Faith Community Nurse Kristin Bradley with any questions.
